The online application form for Bihar GNM 2023 will soon be released online. The admission process for GNM is organized by Bihar Nurse Registration Council (BNRC) to enroll interested candidates in the General Nursing and Midwifery course. GNM is basically a 3-year diploma course that trains and qualifies nurses for serving humanity. Candidates can easily download the application form from the official website, fill it and submit it before the last date.
Bihar regulates its own state-level admissions for General Nursing and Midwifery after the 12th. However, there are some institutions that conduct their own entrance test as well. Apart from this, some institutes also require a mandatory internship of 6 months to successfully complete the course and a part-time GNM course is also offered by some institutions as well.

Eligibility Requirements
Age Limit: To be eligible for admission, the age of the candidate must be between 17 years to 35 years.
Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
Qualification: Those applicants who have passed 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology stream and subjects such as English, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Home Science, Accountancy, Business Studies, Geography, History, Political Science, Economics, Biotechnology, Mathematics, etc. are eligible.
Minimum Marks: Applicants should be qualified with at least 40% marks from the recognized educational Board.
Health Criteria: Medically unfit candidates can not apply for GNM Admission.

Bihar GNM 2023 Counseling Procedure
To keep the admission process smooth, especially for the students enrolling in the medical field, a strict counseling process is necessary. The process starts just after the announcement of results. However, it may be done in one or more Rounds depending upon the requirements and necessity. In order to fill up the vacant seats, more rounds can be organized by the university’s officials.
The registration for the counseling process will start a few days after the release of the result and end at an allotted day decided by the counseling body. Before it closes, the applicants should have to register, pay the registration charges and select the colleges/ universities they wish to be allotted in the order of their choices/ preference.
After the completion of the allotment process, the participants will be allotted a college of their highest preference based on the college cut–off, the availability of seats, and marks secured by the candidates in the last qualifying exam.
Seat Allotment are usually done through online counseling. However, manual (Physical) counseling can happen in any round if such a need arrives. Nominated students are generally required to report within the next week or within the dates assigned by the counseling authority. If the students are not satisfied with their seat allotment, they can register for counseling round 2.
