CISF Recruitment 2023: CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) going to release the notification for the recruitment of candidates in various posts such as SI (Exe), ASI (Exe), Head Constable/GD, and Constable/GD. Pay Scale

Payscale is the primary thing to check whenever you plan to apply for any recruitment notification. That’s why the candidates who are applying, can check the pay scale for different posts. The CISF salary is as follows-

Eligibility Criteria 

  • The applicants must be ex-army in these ranks- HC/GD, Constable/GD, SI/Exe & ASI/Exe posts.
  • They also need to produce a Medical Fitness Certificate by any Govt. doctor.
  • As far as the age limit of the candidates is concerned, it should be 50 years.
  • Also, they have to meet the physical standards eligibility specified for CISF recruitment.

  • Constable– A candidate must have passed class 10th to be eligible.
  • Head Constable– The candidate who have cleared 12th board exams from a recognized board.
  • Sub-Inspector/ ASI– A candidate who has graduated from a recognized university will be eligible for recruitment.

How to apply for CISF Recruitment?

The interested candidates will be able to apply in the specified format & send the application form along with self-attested copies of necessary documents through e-mail to the preferred location given by him.

The applicants can give up to 3 preferences from the locations advertised which will be considered for the final allotment of the recruitment after final selection.

Exam Pattern

The candidate will receive an option to opt the language of the examination- Hindi or English as per his/ her wish. The question paper of CISF recruitment comprises of two parts. Part-1 is based on MCQ while Part-2 is the descriptive question paper. The following are the details of the examination pattern-

Selection Procedure  

The selection procedure includes some stages and candidates have to qualify for all these stages in order to get final recruitment.

Document Verification

In the first stage, the scrutiny of the applications & detailed document verification with original documents provided by the applicants will be done. Hence, all the applied candidates need to produce the necessary documents required for recruitment in original for screening.

Physical Standard Test (PST)

In the second stage, Ex-Army personnel who are applying for SI/Exe or ASI/Exe have to meet the physical standard as specified in the official notification. On the other hand, the physical measurement will be taken for record purposes only in respect of applicants who are appearing for the post of HC/GD or Constable/GD.

After PST, awarding of Scores based on Discharge Certificate

In the third stage, after PST, a qualitative assessment will be done based on the grading in the discharge certificate for selection. The scores of character certificate will be awarded to the candidates out of 10 and the certificate indicates the character by grading as Good, Fair, Indifferent, and Bad.

Medical Examination as per SHAPE Medical Category

In the fourth stage, the selected applicants need to appear for Medical examination as per the SHAPE (Psychological Hearing Appendages Physical & EyeSight) policy of CISF and only SHAPE-1 applicants will be considered for recruitment. CISF Recruitment 2023 Merit List

In the fifth stage, the merit list will be prepared by the recruitment authority based on the marks scored by the applicants.

Waiting List: In the sixth stage, the applicants who have been qualified in the selection procedure but could not be listed in the merit list will be listed in the waiting list. The waiting list will also be released with the merit list which will be valid for 6 months duration. The waiting list of candidates will be considered for recruitment if in case an applicant does not join after the selection.
