EWS Nursery Application Form 2023

This year all the schools have decided to come up with their own guidelines regarding admission criteria. Delhi government has announced that for the next session, the age limit for admission in the nursery should be less than 4 years and for admission in kindergarten and class 1st student’s age should be less than 5 years and 6 years.

How to Apply for EWS Admission 2023

  • Open the official website of the Directorate of education.
  • Now, click on the link “EWS/DG Admission”.
  • Click on “Registration for New user”.
  • A registration form will appear on the screen.
  • Complete the registration form and click on register.
  • You will get the registration number/login id for future use.
  • Now, after login with the registration id, fill the application form.
  • After filling in all the required details, click on submit and submit the application form.
  • Also, take a printout of the application form for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Only those children are eligible for EWS Nursery 2023, whose parents’ annual income is less than Rs 1 lakhs.
  • 25% of reservation for SC/ST.
  • The age limit for Nursery or Preschool students is 3 to 5 years.
  • The age limit for Class 1st students is 5 to 7 years.
  • Seat Quota- As per the Right to Education Act 2009, a total of 25% of the seats are allotted at the entry level.
