ICAR AIEEA 2024 Application Form, Exam Date, Exam Pattern for UG and PG

AIEEA also called as All India Entrance Examination for Admission is a national-level admission test that is organized once a year in various cities across India. This exam is basically designed for those who are interested to get admission to various Undergraduate & Postgraduate courses offered through the participating universities of AIEEA. Moreover, this test is organized at the national level by National Testing Agency. The test is commenced in an online mode. The Application form for ICAR AIEEA 2024 is expected to be out from the 1st week of March 2024 through online mode at the official website of the National Testing Agency. Candidates can obtain the same by visiting the official portal i.e. www.nta.nic.in. Candidates who want to get admission in Agriculture programs/programs of many Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) affiliated institutions should definitely apply for ICAR AIEEA.

Eligibility Criteria

For UG Courses:

  • Educational Qualification: One must pass the 10+2 level or its equivalent examination from any recognized educational board.
  • Marks: Appliers need to have procured at least 50% Marks (45% Marks in case of SC, ST, Pwd, and Transgender categories) to be eligible for admission to ICAR AIEEA.
  • Age Limit: Entrants must not be less than 16 years of age.
  • Subject: Only those who have studied PCB/ PCMB/ PCM/ Inter-Agriculture as a mandatory subject in class 12th will be eligible.

For PG Courses:

  • Educational Qualification: Students possessing 4 or 6 (10+6 B.Sc. Ag.) or f5 years’ (B.V.Sc. & AH) bachelor’s degree are eligible for admission to PG Programme.
  • Those who hold a degree from private Agricultural Universities or Colleges/ Institutions not affiliated, then such candidates cannot apply for ICAR AIEEA.
  • Marks: It is mandatory to secure at least 60% in Post graduate degree (5.60% in case of SC/ ST/ PwD/ Transgender) categories.

ICAR AIEEA 2024 Application Form

  • Students will be able to avail of the application form through the authorized web portal of NTA- www.nta.nic.in.
  • We suggest the entrants to confirm their eligibility before starting the filling process of application form as only eligible candidates will be allowed to fill the application form.
  • Registration Process is expected to start from 1st week of March 2024.
  • Details submitted by the candidates in the application form must be original as mentioned in the certificates and documents.
  • Complete the submission of the application form before the assigned date and time as no application form will be accepted after the last date of submission.
  • Participants have to complete the registration process by the last week of June 2024.
  • We recommended the candidates to generate a printout of duly filled application form and fee receipt as these will be required in admission process.

Exam Pattern

For UG:

  • Total no. of Questions: Total of 150 questions
  • Exam duration: 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes)
  • Maximum marks: Total 600 marks
  • Subjects in Exam: PCM, PCB, PCA & ABC
  • Marking scheme: +4 marks for the right answer
  • Negative marking: -1 mark for the wrong answer

For PG:

  • Mode of the exam: Online (Computer Based Test)
  • Total no. of Questions: 120 questions will be objectively based and 10 questions will be cross-matching type questions
  • Exam duration: 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes)
  • Maximum marks: Total 480 marks
  • Exam Medium: English language
  • Marking scheme: +4 marks for the correct answer
  • Negative marking: -1 mark for the wrong answer

Results

ICAR AIEEA Exam Authorities will disclose the outcome for the participants after a few days from the completion of the examination. Simply access the result by login into the official portal from the 1st week of October 2024 (Expected).

National Testing Agency will declare the result separately for each participant in the said exam through online mode. Finally selected candidates are urged t0 keep their result safe till the completion of admission process/ counseling process.
