JCECE 2023: Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is conducted and organized every year by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) into various undergraduate courses such as B.E/B.Tech, B.V.Sc. /AH, B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry, B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), etc. The courses are offered in various colleges of Jharkhand state. The application process for the entrance exam is done online. The application form will expectedly to be released in the 3rd week of April 2023. JCECE 2023 will also be conducted online through CBT mode i.e. Computer Based Test.

Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be a citizen of India and he/she must contain a domicile of the Jharkhand state.
- The age of the applicants must be between 17 – 22 years.
Educational Qualification:
For B.Tech/B.E: Candidates must have passed class 12th with mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects with 45% marks from a recognized board. Also, they must have any one of the subjects in 12th – Biotechnology, chemistry, biology, technical vocation.
For Agriculture & forestry: Candidates must have passed class 12th with PCM or PCB subject from a recognized board.
For Animal Husbandry: Candidates must have cleared 12th with PCB stream.
Exam Pattern
- The exam mode will be online (Computer Based Test).
- The duration of the exam will be 3 hrs.
- Questions will be objective type.
- There is a negative marking in the exam. 1/4th marks will be subtracted for each wrong answer.
- The total no. of questions from each subject will be 150.
- Total marks will be 500.

Application Form
- The JCECE 2023 application form will be provided to fill through online mode i.e. the official web portal of JCECEB.
- Candidates will have to fill out all the information in the application form for instance name, educational qualification, phone number, etc.
- After providing all the details there, candidate should upload his/ her photograph and signature as per the formats in the application form.
- Candidates have to input all the details correctly as no correction facility will be given further to the candidates.
- Submit the application form and generate its printout for future reference.

The application fee submission mode involves online mode only. The payment of the fees should be done via debit cards, credit cards, or net banking methods.
