  • Now, start filling the Pre-Registration of Pregnancy form.

Procedure to Get PICME Number or RCH ID

After the completion of the PICME registration process, you need to select an option from the preferred day and time for VHM to visit. The VHM will help the individuals with the RCH ID registration process. After this, you will get your own RCHID. Only one month will be taken to issue a new RCH ID in Tamil Nadu. You can also download/ save the birth certificate using a PICME Number or RCH ID.

The Government of Tamil Nadu provides beneficiaries with Rs. 18,000 for every registered pregnant mother in the state. Women registered under the Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy Maternity will avail themselves of government funds too. The amount is divided into various installments on the premises of pregnancy stages.

  • The first amount is Rs.2000, which will be paid prior to 12 weeks of pregnancy.
  • The second installment Rs.2000/- will be paid on the 3rd month.
  • The third installment will be paid after the 4th month of pregnancy though it depends on the G.O.
  • Rs. 2000/- is the fifth installment that comes after the 4th month.
  • After the delivery of the child, the beneficiary will avail of the fifth installment of Rs. 4000.
  • However, the beneficiary needs to deliver at a government hospital to receive the amount.
  • Once the child is vaccinated with PENTA/ ROTA/ OPA and 2 IPV doses, the Government of Tamil Nadu will provide Rs. 4000 as the sixth installment.
  • The seventh installment is Rs. 2000, which comes after the final measles-Rubella vaccine.
  • Through the PICME scheme, you can get access to a child’s birth certificate fast. The Tamil Nadu government suggests that women register under the PICME scheme as soon as possible.
