Sikkim TET 2023: Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test is a regional-level entrance test organized in the state of Sikkim. Sikkim Human Resource Development Department (HRDD) is responsible for conducting this test once a year. Eligibility Requirements
- Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for STET 2023.
- The applicant’s age must fall in the age group of 21 years to 35 years.
- A 5% of age relaxation will be provided for reserved category candidates in the Sikkim TET exam.
Educational Qualification
For primary level (Class Ist to Vth)
- Candidates must have passed class 12th with minimum of 45% marks aggregate marks. In addition, the candidate must also hold a 2 years Diploma in Education/Special Education.
- Applicants with bachelors or B.Ed. degree are also eligible to apply for STET 2023.
For upper primary level (Class VIth to VIIIth)
- The candidate must have completed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Apart from this, the applicant must also hold a B.Ed. degree.
- Students appearing in the final year of B.Ed. degree are also eligible to apply for the same.
Sikkim TET Application Form
- Applicants can obtain the form through the official web portal of the conducting body- www.sikkimhrdd.org
- After that, fill in all your accurate details in the application form. The details may include the candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, contact details, email id, etc. The process will also ask to complete some other steps like uploading documents.
- Moreover, attaching a passport photograph and scanned signature in JPG format is also mandatory.
- Meanwhile, if necessary then attest to all the other documents in the application form.
- After uploading the documents, candidates need to choose the exam center as per their choice. You will be given options to choose two centers, one from primary and the other from secondary.
- Once all the form filling and document uploading is completed, pay the application fee.
- You can pay the fee through TS Online/ Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card.
- Take out a print copy of the application form for future references.

- Duration of Exam: The STET exam’s duration is 3 hours (180 minutes).
- Type of Questions: There will be Objective Based Questions in STET Exam 2021.

Sikkim TET 2023 Result
The Sikkim HRDD will declare the result of the candidates on its official website. Only those candidates who appear in the exam will be able to view the result. You will have to download the result from the official website of the exam conducting authority only. This implies that results will not be given offline or through another mode other than online mode.
