BCECE 2023: Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is conducted and organized every year by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) into various undergraduate courses such as Engineering, medical and agricultural courses. The courses are offered in various colleges of Bihar state. The application process for the entrance exam is done online. The application form will expectedly be released in April 2023. BCECE will also be conducted online through CBT mode i.e. Computer-based test.

Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be a citizen of India and he/she must contain a domicile of the Bihar state.
- The age of the applicants must be 17 years (for health sciences) and 16 years (for agriculture).
- Appearing candidates are also eligible.
Educational Qualification:
For Engineering: Candidates must have passed class 12th with mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects with 45% marks from a recognized board. Also, they must have any one of the subjects in 12th – Biotechnology, chemistry, biology, technical vocational subject.
For Pharmacy: Candidates must have passed class 12th with 45% marks in PCM or PCB subject from a recognized board.
Exam Pattern
- The exam mode will be online (Computer-Based Test).
- The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
- Questions will be objective type.
- There is a negative marking in the exam. 1 mark will be subtracted for each wrong answer.
- The total no. of questions will be 100.
- Total marks will be 400 in each subject.
- Subjects will be – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Agricultural Science.

BCECE 2023 Result
The result will be announced as per the conducting authority. Candidates can check the result through online mode. Students are required to enter their application numbers and password. The merit list of the candidates will be prepared and released by the conducting authority.
Counseling Procedure
BCECE Counseling process will be held where the candidates who have qualified for the Entrance test choose their seats and their admission to the course is confirmed. In this event, candidates will have to visit the venue on the notified date with their original documents for the verification process. Candidates need to confirm their seats by paying the fee for their course. Also, they are required to select the college as per their choices.
