UPSC Geoscientist 2023 Application Procedure
The test application result will be provided on the UPSC official website. The registration form would be divided into two sections: part 1 and part 2, with applicants filling out both portions thoroughly to finish the registration process.
- In the registration form, you must give personal information such as your name, nationality, category, country, and so on.
- Information about the qualifying test, like grades, graduation year, university/board name, and so on, would be requested in the application.

- For general category candidates, the registration cost is Rs. 200 whereas; SC/ST/PH/Women are free from paying the price.
Eligibility Requirements
- Nationality: The candidate should be a Citizen of India or a Nepalese, Bhutanese, or Tibetan refugee who entered India after January 1, 1962. Alternatively, the applicant should be of Indian descent and have moved from East Africa, Pakistan, Burma, or Sri Lanka.
- Education: The individual should have completed a post-secondary education from a recognized university or institution.
- Age Requirements: Age criteria are based on UPSC guidelines.
- Application Fees: The application cost is the most important need, and it may be paid in a variety of methods, including cash deposits or a challan. There’s also no protocol in place that allows the applicant to be reimbursed.
- Recruiting Procedure: The whole selection process is dependent on the student’s grades. Just after selection, one must go through an assessment and personality exams. The interview serves as the basis for the recruitment process.

UPSC Geoscientist 2023: Important Points
- Upon registering, you must provide a legitimate and current email address since the board will communicate with you through email.
- Students who pass the written exam must complete a DAF (detailed application form) and give the authority a self-certified copy (each page must be validated).
- Admit cards would be issued only to those applicants who present their applications on time and in full.
- In the event of a disagreement regarding overqualification, registration, or outcome, the Authority’s judgment would be definitive.
- In no conditions would a plea to withdraw a candidacy after it has been submitted be considered.
