Eligibility Requirements
- Only citizens who are of Indian nationality are eligible to apply.
- Those applicants who are not permanent residents of Jharkhand state can also apply.
- The age of the applicant must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for the exam. For Jharkhand police services, the applicant’s age should be 20 years. The upper age limit for general category female applicants is 38 years. For SC/ ST applicants, the upper age limit is 40 years.
- To apply for this exam, applicants should hold graduation in any discipline from a recognized educational university.
- Both male and female candidates are eligible to take up JPSC Exam 2023.
No. of Attempts
The authorities of JPSC have not prescribed any limit to apply for the exam. Candidates are allowed for JPSC Exam as many times as they want.
JPSC 2023 Application form
The application form will be out on the official website of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission i.e. www.jpsc.gov.in. expected in the month of February 2023. Therefore, all those candidates who wish to apply for exam, can do the same online before its deadline. Appliers need to provide their authentic details including personal, academic, etc. After the completion of application form filling, applicants are required to attach their requisite documents/ certificates in the form and pay the crucial application fee as asked.

Preliminary Exam (Objective type)
- All the questions are objective type in the first stage i.e. Prelims.
- The paper language will be in both Hindi and English.

Interview/ Personal Assessment Round
Personal assessment/ interview round will be the last stage of JPSC Recruitment that carries 200 marks. The officials of JPSC will organize this round to check participants’ personalities. Based on all three stages, they will make a merit list and release the same on their official website. It must be clarified that only the main qualified participants will be able to appear in the JPSC Interview round.
JPSC 2023 Result
The Jharkhand Public Service Commission will make the result accessible on its official portal after a few days from the completion of the exam. A list will be released that will have the name of shortlisted candidates after each stage of the exam.
To download the result, first, go to the JPSC official site home page and search for the result notification section. Candidates have to provide their exact register number and password or date of birth (in case). The result of the JPSC Exam will appear on your screen, save/ download it for future references.
