KVS Class 1st Merit List for the session 2023 will release in the last week of April 2023. Around 7 lakh candidates apply for the KVS admission every year.  Those candidates who have applied online for admission can check the result on the official website of KVS– www.kvsangathan.nic.in. For class 1^st, KVS does not conduct any admission or entrance test. The admission list for class 2^nd and above will be published soon on its official website.

KVS Class 1st Selection Procedure

For class 1^st, candidate’s selection is done on the basis of:

• 15% and 7.5% seats are reserved for SC and ST category students respectively (out of the total intake). For Class 1 admissions, no entrance test is conducted. There will be 2 phases for class 1^st admission.

Phase 1:  In each section, 25% of seats are filled as per the RTE provisions. The seats are filled through a draw of lots between the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/BPL/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ EWS category who are the residents of the neighborhood.

Phase 2: The remaining seats are filled through Priority Category System in place.

Note– If the total number of applications are not received for RTE seats, then a second notification will be issued. Also, if sufficient registrations are not received from SC/ST category candidates, then a second notification for admission is issued by KVS.

• On the homepage, open the ink regarding “Class 1^st selection list”.
• 1^st merit list of KV Admission 2023 will appear on the screen.
