HPPSC HPAS 2022: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission conducts an entrance examination named HPAS to recruit candidates under administrative services in Himachal Pradesh. The exam is conducted once a year. The examination is organized to appoint candidates for the following posts:

Eligibility Criteria

• Only Indian citizens can apply for HPPSC HPAS.
• Candidates must have clear their graduation degree from a recognized university. However, candidates who are appearing final year of their graduation can also apply.
• The age of the applicants should be between 21 years o 35 years. However, age relaxation is provided according to the categories. See below:

HPPSC HPAS 2022 Application Form

• All the aspiring students can fill out the application form online through the official website of the SSC – www.hppsc.hp.gov.in.
• After visiting the website, they have to fill in their personal and academic details in the application form. Above all, a passport-size photograph of the candidate and signature should also be uploaded in the specified format.
• Apart from this, candidates are also required to provide their communication details.
• In the next step, they will have to upload the documents that are asked in the application form.
• Once the documents are attached, candidates need to pay the application fee through online mode.
• They can pay the application fee through their credit card, debit card, and internet banking.
• On the other hand, the offline mode facility is also there. It includes payment through cash at any bank.
• Upon successful submission, take a printout of the application form.

Exam Pattern

• HPPSC HPAS Exam includes two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both the papers will be objective type.
• The examination will be held in written/offline mode (Pen and Paper Based Test).
• 2 hours will be provided to complete the exam for paper 1 and paper 2 each.
• Questions will be Multiple Choice Questions.
• The total no. of questions will be 200.
• The total marks will be 400.
• Meanwhile, the examination will include 2 sections that are listed below in the table:

HPPSC HPAS Selection Process

• Candidates are required to qualify for the written preliminary and mains examination. However, after qualifying, it is equally essential to clear the interview.
• The candidate’s selection will be done on the basis of his/her performance in the preliminary and mains exam and interviews.
• The authority of HPPSC will check the candidate’s skills, mental ability, communication skills, and way of responding through the interview process.
• Meanwhile, the interview carries 150 marks.
