Eligibility Criteria

• Indian citizens can apply.
• He/she must have a domicile of the Jharkhand state.

For B.Sc Nursing:

• Candidates must have cleared class 12th with 45% marks from any recognized board.
• They have to clear 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
• The age of the candidate must be 17 years as of 31st December 2023.

For Post Basic B.Sc Nursing:

• Candidates must have cleared higher secondary/senior secondary/intermediate from any recognized board.
• The age of the applicant must not be more than 35 years as of 31st December 2023.
• Apart from this, they must hold a registered general nursing and midwifery certificate as R.N.R.M. from the state nurses registration council.

• The Application form will be made available in online mode from August 2023.
• Meanwhile, the full application process will include various steps for example registration, providing personal and academic details, uploading images & documents, and paying the application fee.
• It is advised to upload the images of the documents as per the prescribed format and size in the application.

Jharkhand B.Sc Nursing 2023 Result and Merit List

• The result will be announced by the JCECEB. Candidates can easily check the result by visiting the official website of JCECEB- www.jceceb.gov.in.
• Students are required to enter their application number and date of birth to check the result.
• JCECEB will release the merit list 3-5 days after the result declaration.
• Moreover, the merit list is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s scores and categories.
• However, the board will release the separate merit list for both the programs i.e. B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.

Tie-Breaking Procedure

If in case more than one candidate gets the same marks, then the board will follow the breaking rule:

• Candidates scoring higher marks in biology and chemistry.
• Name of the candidate in alphabetical order.
• First priority is given to the older candidates.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

• Name of the candidate in alphabetical order.

Counseling

After the candidates clear the B.Sc. Nursing exam, they need to appear for the counseling process. Proceed for filling the counseling registration form through the official website of JCECEB. On the basis of the rank, candidates will be invited to take part in the counseling round.
