JTET 2023: Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted every year by the State of Jharkhand through the Jharkhand Academic Council. This test determines the eligibility of the candidates for teaching class 1st to class 8th. The notification of JTET 2023 is yet to be released by the officials.

Eligibility Criteria 

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12th with a minimum of 45 % in aggregate.
  • Candidates should have a two-year diploma in elementary education.

OR

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12th with a minimum of 50 % in aggregate.
  • Candidates must have completed a four-year course of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) /two-year diploma in Special Education.

OR

  • Candidates must have a BA/BSc degree with a minimum of 50 % in aggregate.
  • Candidates should have a B.Ed degree.

The basic eligibility criteria required for candidates in order to fulfill JTET eligibility for paper-II include:

  • Candidates must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 45 % in aggregate.
  • Candidates must have a two-year diploma in education or a B.Ed. degree.

OR

  • Candidates must have cleared Class 12th with a minimum of 50 % in aggregate.
  • Special Education with a minimum of 50 % in aggregate.
