Eligibility Criteria
For Class (Class 1st to 5th)
- Candidates must have cleared 12th from a recognized board.
- Candidates must hold a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education with 50 % aggregate marks (5% of relaxation will be provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved category).
For Class (6th to 8th)
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or the appearing candidates of a 2-year diploma in elementary education are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates should have cleared B.A. /B.Sc. from any recognized university of the state.
- Candidate must hold a B.Ed. degree.
- Candidates should score 50% aggregate marks in B.A. /B.Sc. for the General and OBC category.
- For SC/ST category candidates the minimum secured marks should be 45%.
Application Form
- First of all go to the board’s official portal i.e. www.bseodisha.nic.in.
- Now search and click on the link for Application Form. Hit the particular option.
- Click on the registration button and provide the concerned details.
- Fill out complete important details including the name , educational details, date of birth and other required details. Make sure that you do not make any mistakes while doing this step.
- After successfully submitting the application form, you will receive a number along with a password.
- It is essential to get a print of the application form for future use.

Exam Pattern
- There will be a total no. 150questions.
- Total marks will be 150.
- The duration of the examination is 2 and a half hrs.
- The question paper will include MCQ-type questions.
- Candidates are required to score 60% marks on each paper (papers 1 and 2) in order to qualify for the test.
