Cost of Living, Student Employment and Visa in Qatar

For a single student/ person living in Doha, the cost of living is around 10,000 QAR (inclusive of rent). For a family of four or four-person, the cost of living is around 18,000 QAR. The cost of living will vary in other cities of Qatar. With the help of a student visa, the student of Qatar can work for 20 hours per week (off-campus even when the academic session is on). They can work full-time during vacation or the holiday season (for 40 hours a week). If the students in Qatar are working on campus, then they usually get around 40 QAR per hour.

Qatar University Scholarships Without IELTS 2023 Application Process

IELTS is not essential for many of the universities in Qatar. However, applicants have to produce a Proof of Proficiency Certificate in the English language. Those who do not possess an IELTS score, need to provide a Proof of Proficiency Certificate in the English Language to the respective university, stating that the applicants have passed their prior degree in the English language.
