Sainik School Admission 2023: All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) is organized for those candidates, who wish to get admission in Class 6 and 9 at Sainik Schools across India. Interested candidates may apply for the Sainik School Entrance Exam notice by filling out the online application form. Sainik School Entrance Exam notification releases in the first week of August and applicants may follow the link which will be soon available to fill out the Form.

Before applying for the test, contenders should go through the eligibility norms for Sainik School 2023 Admission. Applicants need to be familiar with the age limit, which will be different for Class 6 and 9.  The application will be available online and fill the same until the last week of October 2023.

As per the exam pattern, for class 6, the question paper will have 125 questions and for Class 9, there will be a total of 150. AISSEE 2023 for Class 6 will be out of 300 marks in total and 400 marks for Class 9.

About Sainik Schools

Sainik Schools are one of the well-known public residential schools in India. These schools were conceived in the year 1961 with an aspiration to provide an excellent education to the boys of economically weaker sections of the country and to prepare them for NDA and National Naval Academy. Age Limit

Age Limit criteria for admission to Sainik School

• Class 6 – 10 to 12 years
• Class 9 – 13 to 15 years

Entrance Exam details

• The entrance Exam will be held for admission to classes VI & IX.
• Boys whose age exists between the age of 10 to 12 years and 13 to 15 years respectively on 31st March are eligible to take the Entrance Exam.
• For admission to Class IX, the boys should be studying in Class 8^th
• Admission of eligible students will be made strictly in order of merit only in classes VI and IX.
• Only boys students are eligible to take admission in Sainik School all over India

Exam Test

• Written Entrance Exam will be held in the first week of January 2023
• Due to the alteration in format total number of questions in class VI as well as IX may alter.

 Medium/Language

• Class 6(Sixth) – English/ Hindi/ Local Language of the State
• Class 9(Ninth) – English Language Only

The Sainik School Entrance Examination will take place all over India for enrolling candidates in various classes. In order to collect the official notification about an exam, candidates should ensure to utilize the official website www.sainikschooladmission.in.

Go to the specified web portal and acquire the Sainik School Application Form. Fill out the complete information as necessarily required in the application form and in case candidates find that all the details are correctly filled then they can proceed to submit the application form. Along with the application form, aspirants also need to upload their latest photograph and signature.

Documents Required

• For reserved candidates, a caste certificate of ST/SC is must.
• Permanent Residential Domicile Certificate from SDO/ ADM/ DM is required.
• A duly attested Date of birth certificate by a competent authority.
• For Serving Defense Personnel: A current serving certificate by the OC of the unit where the parent of the child is serving.
• For Ex-Servicemen: A copy of discharge certificate duly attested by gazzeted officer.
• Previous school passing and transfer certificates.
