Eligibility Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline from any University/College recognized by the State/Central Government or its equivalent examination are eligible. In addition to that, the students in the final year/semester can also apply but they need to show
their final passing certificate.
- Age Limit: Candidates of the general category must be between the ages of 21 years to 30 years as of 1st April 2019. As per government rules, there will be relaxation in age for candidates belonging to different backgrounds and categories. SC & ST individuals will be eligible to avail relaxation by 5 years, OBC backward category by 3 years, PWD candidates by 10 to 15 years, J&K candidates by 5 years, and ECO/ SSSO & Ex-Service by 5 years.

The final results are declared after the commencement of both interview and group discussion. Those candidates who will be selected in the final results of SBI PO Recruitment 2023 will be recruited for the post of PO in any branch of SBI across the nation.
Selection Process
The selection process of the candidates will be done considering the following factors:
- SBI PO Recruitment 2023 mainly consists of Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Group Discussion & Interview and each round needs to be qualified for the final selection.
- First of all, candidates have to pass/ qualify for the preliminary exam. After that authorities will call the candidates for the Main Exam.
- Only preliminary qualified candidates will be eligible to take part in Mains Exam. Those who qualify for both SBI Preliminary & Main Exam will be called to appear for Group Discussion & Interview.
- The merit list will be prepared based on performance by candidates in the Prelims Exam and Mains Exam.
- After the commencement of the Main Exam, the authority will invite the candidates for Group Discussion (GD)/Interview.

i am serving in Army as SSO officer. i am about to release from army in next year 2023.
my query s – i will be completing 36 years of age in 2023 however age relaxation given is 05 years for SSO. is it not that upper age limit shall be relaxed by the length of service increase by three years in case of ex servicemen.???
