Bihar B.Ed 2024: For admission to Bihar Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme, a common entrance test is conducted. Candidates of Bihar who are looking forward to start their career in the teaching field will be able to appear for the entrance test and get admission in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program by applying online. Each year, this test is commenced for candidates to seek admission in B.Ed colleges, universities and government authorized institutes located in the state of Bihar.
The entrance test will expectedly be conducted in the second week of August 2024. Interested candidates can apply for the application form and appear for the entrance exam accordingly. They must note that the admission is only entrance based and they need to secure minimum qualifying marks in the entrance to secure admission to B.Ed course.

Eligibility Criteria
Applying candidates have to meet minimum eligibility criteria as laid by the Bihar B.Ed Common Entrance Test conducting authority:
- Candidates scoring a minimum of 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) or in a Master’s Degree in Humanities/ Science/ Social Science.
- Candidates will get seat relaxation and relaxation in the qualifying marks too. This is only applicable for the candidates of SC/ ST/ BC/ EBC/ WBC/ Differently abled and other categories according to the rules and regulations of Government of Bihar.
- A degree of Bachelor’s in Engineering/ Technology with a specialization in Mathematics and Science along with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent is needed for the admission.
Bihar B.Ed 2024 Application Form
The applicant’s fulfilling the above mentioned eligibility criteria will be able to apply smoothly and easily for Bihar B.Ed entrance Test 2024. They will have to fill out the application form and submit the same before the last date. The form will be available online on the official website of the exam conducting body. As soon as the registration process is started, candidates can register themselves and submit the form within the due date.
Applying individuals are required to log in to the official website and get the direct link to the application form. Provide only asked details within the application form. The details in the form must be accurate and match with those on documents as after that no change in the form can be done once the form is submitted. Moreover, candidates should upload scanned documents like photographs and signatures as per their prescriptions. After that, the payment of the application fee should be made by the candidates and then finally candidates can submit the form. Exam Pattern
- The exam shall be completed within 2 hours of duration.
- It will hold a total of 120 multiple choice questions each carrying one mark.
- Candidates will get the OMR Sheet/Answer Sheet for answering the questions.
- They should use a blue/ black ball pen only to mark the answer in the OMR sheet.
- Entrance test holds a maximum marks of 120.

Result and Cutoff
The official authorities of the university will issue the result through online mode by visiting the official website. In order to get the result the candidate is required to log in with his/ her date of birth and registration number. Soon after providing the login credentials, the university will issue the cutoff list along with the results.
The qualifying marks or cut-off list will be displayed on the official site by the Bihar B.Ed Common Entrance Test authorities. These cut-off marks are changed every year. Certain factors are considered while preparing the cut off list like the number of candidates applying for the test, the number of candidates passing in that particular year, the number of vacancies for the course, the level of question paper, etc.
