Eligibility Criteria

For Primary level (class 1st to 5th)

  • Candidates should have completed graduation with 2 years of diploma in elementary education.

OR

  • Candidates must have done 12th with 50% marks in aggregate with 2 years diploma in elementary education.
  • Candidates must be of Indian nationality.

Upper Primary level (class 6th to 8th)

  • Candidates must have done graduation along with a diploma in elementary education.

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree with 50% in aggregate and B.Ed. degree.
  • The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Exam Pattern

  • The exam mode will be offline.
  • The question paper will contain the objective types of questions.
  • The exam duration will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • There will be no negative marking.

  • Child Development and Pedagogy – Learning and cognitive development, dimensions of development, Introduction to Child Development, Children with special needs.
  • Language – Unseen passage, grammar, vocabulary, pedagogy of language development, Reading Comprehension.
  • Mathematics: Teaching, Time, Area & Volume, Ratio & proportion, Unity law, Time and Distance, Speed, percentage, Simplification, Number system, Average, Nature of Mathematics, Learning, and evaluation of mathematics, Profit and Loss, Simple Interest, Decimal System, Square Root, HCF & LCM.
  • Environmental Studies: Environmental studies and classroom activities, Family, Care of one’s own body, Ecological system, The teaching of social studies, Understanding Own Environment, Importance of Environmental Studies, Understanding of Children on Environment.

Paper-II

  • Child Development and Pedagogy: Learning & Pedagogy, Inclusive Education, Development of Primary School Child, Children with special needs.
  • Language: Reading comprehension, Unseen Passage, Grammar, Vocabulary, etc.
  • Mathematics & Science: Electricity, Science & Technology, Structure of matter & chemical substances, Sound and magnetism, heat, light, Force & Motion, Living things, Sound &Nature of Mathematics, Algebra, BODMAS, Number Series, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Speed, Time and Distance, Ratio & Proportion, Line & Angle, Plane Shapes, Triangle, Rectangle, Parallelogram, Trapezium, Cube, Cuboids, Right Circular Cylinder, Data Interpretation & Statistics.
