GNM Merit List 2023
The Nursing Council Department of each state is responsible for organizing the selection procedure for the GNM course. Those candidates who have submitted online/ offline GNM Application Form 2023 successfully shall be eligible to check the merit list for GNM Admission 2023. Consequently, the Merit list is prepared by the officials on the basis of the academic information provided by the candidate at the time of filling the application form. Additionally, there are two types of merit lists available i.e. category-wise merit list and overall merit list. The same contains the name of the candidate, his/ her rank, and the aggregate marks.
The General Nursing and Midwifery merit list is made accessible in descending order. Those students who are positioned on the first in the merit list will be given first preference. In case two or more candidates acquire the same number of marks, then a Tie-Breaking method will be followed i.e.:
- Applicants who have higher marks in Biology subject will get a Higher Rank.
- If the tie still exists, then the candidate less incorrect answers get a higher rank.
- Even after that, the tie still exists then; the first preference will be given to the candidate older in age.
- If the tie still persists, then the student having more aggregate marks will receive a higher rank.
