West Bengal GNM/ANM Admission 2023: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is the competent authority that is responsible for organizing the entrance exam for ANM / GNM Admission 2023. Eligibility Criteria

For GNM

• The age of the applicant must be 17 to 27 years at the time of admission.
• The applicant must be of Indian Nationality and also hold a domicile certificate of West Bengal.
• The candidates must be fluent in the Nepali or Bengali language.
• Applicant must have cleared class 12th from Vocational Agricultural Exam and Vocational Health Care Science Exam from West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development, West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.
• It is mandatory to score at least 40% in English in aggregate as well.

For ANM

• Only female applicants are eligible to apply.
• Age must be between 17 years to 30 years at the time of admission.
• The applicant must be of Indian Nationality and also hold a domicile certificate of West Bengal.
• Applicants have to be fluent in the Nepali and Bengali languages.
• Candidates must have passed 12th from Vocational Agricultural Exam and Vocational Health Care Science Exam from West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development, West Bengal Council of Higher Education.
• It is necessary to score an aggregate of 40% marks in English also.

West Bengal GNM/ANM Admission 2023 Application Process

• All the interested applicants can submit the online application form from- www.wbjeeb.nic.in.
• However, there will be no other mode to submit the application form. There will be only an online mode.
• Candidates have to do registration by entering all personal, academic, and other required details in the form.
• Upload all the essential documents including passport size photo and signature in a scanned form.
• Moreover, you need to submit the application fee by debit card, credit card, and internet banking only.
• Keep a few prints of the confirmation page of the application form for other uses.

Exam Pattern

• The examination mode will be offline.
• The GNM/ANM exam’s duration is 3 hours.
• Questions will be Multiple Choice Questions.
• There will be 6 sections in the GNM/ANM entrance exam.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

Result and Selection Process

The Exam conducting body will declare the result after a few days of the exam. It will be available in online mode. Candidates are required to clear the entrance exam in order to qualify for the final selection procedure.
The authority will prepare a merit list considering the top 4 subjects including English which is mandatory. Candidates who will make it to the merit list will be called for the counseling procedure. Therefore candidates have to get their names on the merit list for the selection. You can see the scores secured in each section and overall marks as well in the result. The result will mention the candidate’s name, application number, category, the status of the result (pass/fail), etc.
