Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who will successfully fulfill the below eligibility criteria can apply for this examination:

• Candidates must have done 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as compulsory subjects.
• He/ she must have secured at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination (40% marks in case of SC/ ST candidates).
• The student’s age must not be below 17 years as on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

• First of all, go to the official website of Himachal Pradesh Technical University i.e. www.himtu.ac.in.
• To fill the application form, candidates are required to register themselves by submitting the required details and after verifying, the username and password for the applicants will be generated.
• Applicants need to enter all the required details such as basic personal details in the first step which includes name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, etc.
• For applicants, it is very necessary to upload their scanned documents such as passport size color photo and signature in the required field as per the prescribed format as without this step the form will not be accepted.
