IGKO Olympiad 2023: The International General Knowledge Olympiad shortened as IGKO is a competitive examination conducted to test the proficiency of the students in the subject of General Knowledge. Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) is accountable for conducting the IGKO on two different dates i.e. the first week of September and the last week of September 2023 as expected. IGKO Olympiad 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The SOF IGKO 2023 eligibility criteria is not very difficult for the applicants interested to appear for the exam so refer to the below information:
- Age criteria: All the applicants from Class 1st to 10th are eligible to apply for the SOF IGKO 2023.
- Gender criteria: There is no gender preference for this exam, therefore both male and female students are eligible for this exam.
- Qualification: Students enrolled in the primary section (1st to 4th) or the second section (5th to 10th) are eligible to appear for SOF IGKO 2023.
IGKO Olympiad 2023 Application Process
The application procedure regarding IGKO 2023 has been mentioned in the below section for the applicants:
- Applicants will only be able to apply to the Olympiad through the offline mode i.e. through their schools.
- The respective schools need to register themselves for the SOF IGKO 2023 by sending an email to the office of SOF.
- The official authority i.e. SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) will send all the application forms along with the information brochures to the registered schools.
- It must also be clarified that interested applicants will also have to pay the application fee for the registration confirmation.
- The schools may also charge an additional Rs 25/- amount along with the requisite registration fee.
- After collecting all the application forms from the applicants the school has to send them to the main office of SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) before the due date.
- As per the guidelines of SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation), the applicants who are physically disabled or belong to the soldiers family will be provided a waiver for the application fee.
Application Fee
Mode of payment: The applicants will have to pay the SOF IGKO 2023 registration fee in the form of cash to the school and then the school will further pay/ send it to the SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) suitably. The registration fee is Rs 125/- (inclusive GST) for each applicant. Rs 25/- extra may also be charged by the school for the expenses that are emanated during the exams.
Exam Pattern
The applicants are instructed to go through the below section to know about the exam pattern for the SOF IGKO 2023:
- Exam Level: It will be a single-level exam.
- Exam Mode: The SOF IGKO 2023 exam will be commenced in offline mode which means there will be a written test for the applicants.
- Duration: The students will get 1 hour to solve the complete SOF IGKO 2023 exam paper.
- The number of questions: The applicants who are from class 1st to 4th will have to solve 35 questions and the students from class 5th to 10th will have to answer a total of 50 questions.
- Type of questions: The exam paper will hold objective-type questions for the applicants to answer.

Results
The results for the SOF IGKO 2023 will be issued within a week from the conduction of the exam. The main authority i.e. SOF will send the results to the respective schools and the applicants will be able to get the information from there and online as well. For online mode, participants are suggested to visit the official website. To check for the results, participants need to enter a few details such as the school code along with the roll number.
