Indira Gandhi Post Graduate Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023-23 About Scholarship

The Indira Gandhi Single Girl Child Scholarship will only be provided to 3000 girls who will be selected from all over the country will be selected. These 3000 selected girls will be given a scholarship of Rs 36,200 (thirty-six thousand and two hundred rupees) annually.

However, it must be noted that the girls who will avail the benefit of this scholarship, will not be provided any other scholarship further this implies that the receiver can only take advantage of one scholarship. What Eligibility is Required?

• The applicant has to be a single girl child in her family. Apart from this, the girl must have taken admission into a first-year Master’s degree.
• The applicant must be a regular student of a PG course. The scholarship will not be provided to the student who is studying Master’s degree through distance education.
• The age of the applicants must be 30 years or less than 30 years at the time of admission.
