Eligibility Requirements
Admission in JMI varies as per class. In the below section we have given eligibility criteria for admission to class 6th, 9th and 11th:
- For admission to class 6th, it is crucial for the students to submit marks sheet of their qualifying examination.
- For admission to class 9th and 11th, candidates should submit the proof of passing 8th and 10th classes respectively.

Jamia Milia School Admission Process
- The application forms for prep. and class 1 admission will be submitted through offline mode.
- The application form should be submitted through online mode for the classes 6th, 9th, and 11th. Candidates will easily fill up the application form through the official website of JMI School. They can further make online payment through credit card / debit card/ net banking.
- Candidates can collect the Prospectus cum Admission form from MAKTABA JAMIA LIMITED by making the cash payment of Rs.250/- or one can also download the form from Jamia website jmi.ac.in.
- The downloaded application needs to be submitted along with a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 300/- in favor of Registrar, Jamia Milia Islamia, payable at New Delhi, India.
- The Duly filled-in offline JMI School application form should be submitted in person at the allotted counters or via registered or speed post to the “Principal, Syed Abid Husain Senior Secondary School, Jamia Milia Islamia, Jamia Nagar, Delhi-110025, India”.
- There will be a draw of lots for admission to class Prep and Class 1st.
- Application forms must be duly filled and classes Prep. and 1st application form should be submitted at the concerned school on or before the last date.
- Only those candidates who will have their names in the list of selected/ waitlisted candidates shall be eligible for admission in the school provided they meet all the eligibility norms.
