The University of Kerala was established in 1937 as the University of Travancore in the former princely state of Travancore (now southern Kerala and some surrounding regions of Tamilnadu). It is one of India’s original 16 universities. The University now includes sixteen schools and forty-one research and education divisions, as well as training areas and other divisions. Divisions are responsible for teaching, research, and knowledge dissemination. • The admissions procedure varies depending on the course being pursued. Here we have discussed the admissions procedure for a few courses in this section.
• Candidates’ results in the Kerala Engineering, Architecture, Medical, and Pharmacy entrance exams will determine their eligibility for admission to the B.tech and B.Arch programs.
• If a candidate has qualified for NATA, he or she will be qualified to apply to the B. Arch. program.
• Students will be admitted to additional courses such as BA, B.Com, and other related courses based on their academic performance.
• To be considered for admission to the postgraduate programs, candidates should first pass the entrance test administered by the institution.
• A candidate’s score in the entrance test will also be taken into consideration for admission to the BPA, BFA, and B.P.Ed programs.
• MBA admissions will be provided on the basis of the scores obtained in the CAT exam. The applicants’ performance in the GATE exam will be critical in determining whether or not they are admitted to the M. Tech program

• When determining whether or not you are eligible for admission to the Kerala Institution, you must follow the procedures outlined below in order to submit an application for admission to the university.
• First and foremost, you are supposed to visit the university’s official website.
• To apply for admission, go on to the admissions page.
• Then choose the program for which you want to submit an application.
• You would need to create a personal user id and password by registering on the website.
• Now, enter your personal user id and password into the appropriate fields on the website.
• Here on the website, select the program for which you want to apply and fill out the application form, making sure to include your academic and personal credentials.
• Individuals will then be required to submit some more of their papers, including a picture, academic records from their last session, an identification card, and their signatures or thumbprint.
• Once you’ve finished filling out the application form, go through it again to assure everything that you’ve submitted is genuine.
• Make the payment and upload the completed application form to be considered for enrollment.
• Maintain a hard copy of the application form or the application acknowledgment in your possession for reference in the future.

Documents Needed in the Admission Process

To be considered for enrollment based on merit, you must first submit an application via the online application submission procedure. When the university has completed this process, it will post the merit list over its official web page. If your name appears on the list, you will be required to attend in person for counseling with the original prints of the required items:

• The Memorandum of Enrollment.
• Proof of the University fee, which was deposited in the bank.
• Certificate of date of birth (10th mark sheet)
• Any Transfer Certificates (TCs) that have been issued
• If relevant, a copy of your transfer documentation.
• Any additional papers that the Head of Institution considers necessary to be produced.
