KSLU Admission 2023: Karnataka State Law University was formed in 2009 by the Karnataka government as a State University in the district of Navanagar, Hubli. The popular university is situated on the 55 acres of land. It got affiliations from UGC( University Grants Commission). Approximately, 92 Karnataka law institutions are affiliated with KSLU. In this university, candidates will get a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate law courses in subjects such as International Law, Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Business and Trade Law and Constitutional Law. Presently, KSLU offers the 3 years LL.B. course, 5 years B.A., B.B.A., L.L.B. (Hon’s), B.A., LL.B., B.B.A., LL.B., LL.B. (Hons.) Integrated programmes and LL.M. programme, Certificate and P.G. Eligibility Requirements
L.L.B
Aspirants seeking admission in LLB should have passed bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate of the total marks in the case of general category candidates and 40% of total marks for the candidates belonging to SC and ST category.
Age limit: The maximum age of the applicant must not be more than 30 years for open category candidates & more than 35 years for the candidates belonging to the category of SC, ST, and Other Backward Communities.
B.A.L.L.B./ BBA + LLB/ BBA + LLB Hons
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or intermediate or equivalent with at least 45% marks in aggregate. Applicants should have acquired 10+2 First Degree Certificate and Higher Secondary Pass Certificate after the correspondence or distance method.
Age Limit- The age of the general category candidates should not be less than 20 years and 22 years for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, and other backward communities as on 01 June 2023.
LLM
An applicant who holds a bachelor’s degree in the field of law from a University established by a State Legislature or by an Act of Parliament or an equivalent national institution recognized as a foreign University or Deemed to be University recognized as equivalent to any Indian Universities with the minimum aggregate of 45% marks for general category and 40% for SC and ST category are eligible to apply.
KSLU Admission 2023 Application Form
- Applicants will be able to get the application forms through both online and offline mode.
- Offline Application Form will be released tentatively in the 2nd week of October 2023.
- For offline method, aspirants can collect the application form directly from the administration office of KSLU.
- While for the online method, aspirants can get the application form from the official website of Karnataka State Law University.
Application Fee
The application fee for the candidates of General category is Rs.1000 and Rs.500 in the case of SC/ ST students.
Candidates can make the payment of the application fee either through a demand draft collected in aid of the Finance officer of KSLU or by making a challan from any branch of SBI or through credit/ debit card and net banking. The brochures that are mandatory to be submitted along with the application form are as follows:
- Caste/ Community/ Tribe/ Disability Certificate in the case of ST/ SC/ OBC/ PH Candidates.
- Demand draft/ Challan From for the course fee.
- SSC/ SSLC/ 10th Class Certificate/ Score Card Maintaining Date of birth.
- 5 recent passport sized photographs along with the application.
- HSC/ PUC 2nd year/Degree Qualification Examination Score Card.
- Acknowledgment Card duly stamped.
- Eligibility certificate, if required.
- Income certificate, if required.
- Migration certificate, if needed for applicants from outside Karnataka state and foreigners

Results
The Officials of Karnataka State Law University will declare the result through online mode via their official website. The aspirants will have to provide their login credentials in order to obtain the results of KSLU.
They will require to enter the necessary details such as registration id and password. The PDF will only be produced in online manner. The information regarding the KSLU result will be found by the student on the official page of the University.
