Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must fulfill all the qualifying requirements for the entrance exam.
- In order to be eligible for PG Courses; one has to hold a bachelor’s degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized institute of education.
- The University of Madras accepts applications from both Indian and international students.
- The candidate has to score a minimum of 50% in the qualifying degree as well as 50% in the entrance exam.
- The availability of total seats is restricted to each division providing the courses as per the Tamil Nadu government’s quota system.
- Candidates from all other states other than SC/ST category would only be accepted for General Round selection.
