Rural Candidates: Those who belong to Rural Areas should have completed their Class 3rd, 4th & Class 5th from a recognized school in the Rural Areas.
Urban Candidates: Those who belong to Urban Areas should have completed their Class 3rd, 4th & Class 5th from a recognized school in the Urban Areas.
Transgender Candidates
- No reservation for the Transgender Candidates.
- Each and every Transgender include in the Boys Category.
- They have similar reservations such as for various Sub Categories Viz Rural, Urban, SC, ST, and Divyang.

JNVST Exam Pattern
- The question paper comprises 100 questions overall.
- Every question comprises of 1 mark each.
- Questions have consisted of mental aptitude (non-verbal reasoning), Maths, and Hindi language.
- Attain the maximum marks for qualifying in the exam
- Admission will be based on the ranks achieved by students.
- No negative marking for any of the wrong answers.
- Only 80 candidates can search for admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya after passing JNVST 2024.

- Fill out the form with all required information.
- While filling out the form you need to upload essential documents.
- Take a printout of it.
- After that, you have to submit the application form.
- Get the hard copy of the form in an envelope and send it to the office of the Common Service Centre.
