Eligibility Requirements
- Academic Qualification: Candidates must hold any bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized educational institute.
- Age Limit: The age of the applying candidate must lie between 18 to 30 years.
- A 5% of relaxation in age will be provided to SC/ ST category candidates.
- Language: Candidates must be fluent in Hindi and English language.
- Experience: Applicants should have participated in at least 6 theater productions.

- Candidates can obtain the NSD Application form through both online and offline modes.
- Candidates can fill the application form from June 2024 till July 2024.
- All the details must be filled in carefully in the application form. The details will be including education, personal and communication details, etc.
- Upload/ attach one passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- The details must be filed accurately at once only because no correction facility will be provided further and after the last date application form will not be accepted.

NSD 2024 Answer Key
The answer key will be released through online mode. Candidates can check their answer key from the website of the National School of Drama. Answer key will be made available after few days of the examination.
With the help of an answer key, candidates can evaluate or estimate the scores secured in the exam. Within a few days of the release of the answer key, the officials of NSD will also announce the results.
NSD 2024 Result
NSD result is expected to be released in the month of August 2024. The result too will be published through online mode. Through online mode, candidates can check their results. On the basis of the entrance test, results will be published in the form of a merit list. The candidate’s name and marks will be displayed in the merit list.
The candidates will be selected for the final workshop on the basis of marks secured in the examination.
NSD Admission 2024
The final admission will be done on the basis of a written test and a final workshop. Two stages will be there for the selection of the candidates. The first stage will be of preliminary test and then preliminary test qualified candidates will have to appear in the final workshop.
After the written test, the officials of NSD will organize interviews or final workshops for the first-stage qualified candidates. For this, candidates will have to go to New Delhi for 4- 5 workshops. Candidates will be called for interview rounds after the final workshop.
They will also have to attend the counseling process by a person. At the time of counseling, candidates also need to submit the admission fee. During the counseling process, the candidate’s medical fitness test and document verification will also be done.
