NTRUHS Admission 2023: NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) Admission Process is regulated at the university level to offer admission in graduate and postgraduate degrees, diplomas, and super-specialty courses in nursing, yoga sciences, homeopathy, ayurvedic, physiotherapy, modern medicine, etc. In order to get admission in NTRUHS, aspirants will have to clear or qualify for the entrance exam conducted by the NTR University of Home Sciences itself. The official authorities of NTRUHS will commence the counseling session for various courses. Those candidates who successfully qualify for this exam will be appearing for counseling. Apart from the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses, the university also offers full-time and part-time doctoral programs. The application process will be regulated via both online and offline modes.

In order to get enrolled in a part-time Ph.D. course at Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, students need to possess a one-year working experience in any of the colleges or institutes affiliated with NTRU. Candidates qualifying for secondary school or an equivalent examination with an aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology, Botany) / Biotechnology, and English as the mandatory subjects can apply for BDS/ MBBS program.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The candidate should have cleared class 12th to be eligible for admission.
  • And Candidates must clear the qualifying exam for a specified course of their choice with minimum marks required.
  • Applicants should be under the age limit.
  • Moreover, candidates who are presently pursuing a course cannot sit in the examination or appear for the same course.

Eligibility as per Courses:

MD:

Candidates should have passed BDS/ examination from a Dental Council of India/ Medical Council of India. Additionally, only Indian Nationals will be eligible or if the person holds a citizen of Indian card or if he/ she is of Indian origin (PIO).

MD (Unani):

The aspirant should have undergone and completed training as a House Officer/ Internee. If the candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Unani, then, he/she cannot give the entrance examination.

MD (Homoeopathy):

Candidate should clear the 5.5 years degree course in Homeopathy and should possess a degree in the same or should have qualified an equivalent examination. He/she must also complete the mandatory internship.

MD (Ayurveda):

Applicants must have undergone professional training as a House Officer/ Internee. If he/ she holds a Master’s degree in Unani, then, he/she cannot take up the entrance examination. Additionally, only Indian Nationals will be eligible if the person holds a citizen of Indian card or if he/ she is of Indian origin (PIO).

MS:

Candidate should pass BDS/ MBBS/ BDS examination from a Dental Council of India/ Medical Council of India.

MDS:

A BDS degree from NTR University or from any other recognized university is required. Candidates must have passed MBBS / BDS examination from a Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India. Additionally, only Indian Nationals will be eligible if the person holds a citizen of Indian card or if he/ she is of Indian origin (PIO).

MBBS/BDS:

An applier must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotechnology and English as the main subjects. They must secure a minimum qualifying mark of 50% marks for OC candidates, OC PH- 45% marks in Science Subjects and BC/SC/ST – 40% marks in Science subjects.

B.Sc (Nursing):

Applicants who have cleared Intermediate/APOSS (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and English as the mandatory subject or pass intermediate with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Inter Vocational with Bridge program in Biological and Physical Sciences. Minimum qualifying marks for OC – 45% marks in Science subjects and BC/SC/ST – 40% marks in Science subjects.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing:

Those who have passed 12th/ NIOS or any equivalent examination and must have passed General Nursing and Midwifery from the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or Nursing Council of India are eligible.

NTRUHS Admission 2023 Application Process

It is mandatory for the candidates to register online for admission. First of all, they must satisfy the eligibility and other conditions required for admission before filling online application. Go through the brochure and guidelines to fill out the application form before doing the actual registration. The candidate will have to submit the application online only. Candidates should send the printout of the filled application form along with the original and the copies of required certificates attested by the Gazetted Officer. NTRUHS Admission 2023 Result

Participants will be able to see their ranks which are based on marks obtained by them in the qualifying exam. The students who have qualified or secured minimum marks come under merit preparation will be finalized.
Then, the merit list will be prepared and students will be allotted ranks in order of marks obtained. The ranks obtained by the participant in the order of marks will be available and displayed on the notice boards of the Medical Colleges, where the courses are offered. The results will also be published on the University Website. The results are declared online for every participant and not individually.
