Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who are in the current year in SSC class from any recognized board are eligible to appear for the NTSE exam.
- Applicants must have passed the 9th class from a recognized school.
- The applicants must have obtained a minimum of 70% marks in the 9th class (more than 55% marks in the case of reserved category applicants).
NTSE Tamil Nadu 2023 Application Form
- One can get the application form through the official website i.e. www.dge.tn.gov.in.
- Candidates can also get the application form from their respective schools.
- The headmaster/ principal of the school will provide the application form to the students.
- Candidates must submit the application form before its last date of submission.
- Applicants are instructed to not leave any field blank therefore it is mandatory to fill every field.
- Fill the application form with a blue or black ball pen and in block letters only.
- Fill in all your necessary details in the application form and attach your educational certificates also.
- Now paste your passport-sized photo in the application form.
- Once the form is completed, submit the duly filled application form to your respective school along with the requisite application fee.
- The application charges are the same for all the candidates i.e. Rs. 50/-. However, the fee is non-refundable.

Result
The result will be out after a few days of the exam commencement in online mode. Candidates should check the examination result with the assistance of the official website by providing the registration number and date of birth in the login window. DGE is in charge of releasing the merit list of the nominated students along with the examination result. And those candidates who pass the Stage I will proceed for Stage II. After the result of Stage II is announced, the scholarships will be provided to the nominated candidates.
