Eligibility Requirements
Nationality
The applicant must be:
- An Indian national.
- A subject of Nepal.
- A subject of Bhutan.
- A Tibetan refugee who arrived to permanently settle in India before January 1, 1962.
- A candidate of Indian origin who has moved to India permanently from Vietnam, Ethiopia, Zaire, Malawi, Zambia, United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, the East African countries of Kenya, Pakistan, Burma and Sri Lanka.
Educational Qualification
A graduation degree along with typing proficiency is required in posts such as:
- Traffic Assistant
- Senior Time Keeper
- Commercial Apprentice (CA)
- Traffic Apprentice (TA)
- Enquiry-Cum-Reservation-Clerk
- Goods Guard Selection
- Asst Station Master (ASM)

Age Criteria
The age limit is 18- 28 years, however, the age relaxation is listed in below:

RRB NTPC 2024 Application Form
- Candidates can get and fill up the application form through the official website of RRB- www.indianrailways.gov.in.
- Choose the zone where you are willing to apply.
- Provide your personal/ educational details and upload the signature and photograph in the form.
- Complete the application fee payment by UPI/ debit card/ credit card/ net banking/ SBI challan (offline mode).

Exam Pattern
- Both the stages of RRB NTPC will be held online i.e. Computer Based Mode.
- Every stage will be based on Objective Type Questions.
- The first and second stage comprises of 100 and 120 marks respectively.
- For each correct response, 1 mark will be awarded and one-third of marks of negative marking will be there.
- For each stage, there will be a duration of 90 minutes or 1 hour 30 minutes.
