SMFWB Paramedical 2023-24 Application Form, Dates, Exam Pattern

State Medical Faculty of West Bengal (SMFWB), Kolkata publishes the guidelines and process along with the admission schedule on their official website. Qualified candidates will get admission to various paramedical courses in government and non-government institutions in West Bengal. The examination will be organized in written mode and the admit card for the same will be issued at the official website i.e. www.smfwb.in. Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility criteria are given below:

• Citizenship: The applicant has to be a citizen of India
• Age Limit: The minimum age required for an applicant is 17 years and there is no upper age limit for the SMFWBEE 2023.

Academic Qualification

• Candidates need to clear Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination recognized by any Indian University with passing marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individually in order to be eligible for SWFWBJEE 2023.
• The Board of the Qualifying Examination should be recognized by the Central Government or concerned state Government.

SMFWBJEE 2023 Application Process

• The application process will be commenced via online mode only.
• Candidates must register themselves at the official portal of SMFWB.
• They must also provide their valid mobile number and/or unique email ID as all information will be received from and sent through the registered mobile number and email ID of the candidate.
• After providing all the details like name, father’s name, mother’s name and date of birth and submitted, candidates cannot be changed/modified/ edit the particulars under normal circumstances.
• Information filled in the application form must match with the candidate’s school admit cards, mark sheets, photo id cards, certificates, caste/category certificates etc.
• Candidates are suggested to submit only one application form only. Multiple or duplication applications will be rejected by the official authorities.
• Upload the scanned image of a recent colour passport size photograph and signature in a prescribed/ specified format.
• The candidate must get the hard copy of the duly filled and submitted application form for additional uses.
• The SMFWB admission date will be announced on its official website.

Application Fee

The application fee can be paid in cashless mode via Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card or offline mode via cash using the State Bank of India e-challan.

• Exam Mode: Offline Mode (OMR-based examination)
• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions
• Sections: Two- Section – A (Physics & Chemistry), Section -B (Biology)
• Division of Questions: Section – A (Physics & Chemistry) – 50, Section -B (Biology) – 50
• Number of Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions
• Marking Scheme: 1 mark each for every right answer and no negative marking is applicable.

SMFWB Paramedical 2023 Result

The candidates can check the entrance examination result online at their official site. It will be out in the form of a rank card. To download the rank card, the participants have to log into the official portal using the application number and password (generated during registration).

A separate merit list containing the names of the qualified candidate will also be published. The candidates who successfully pass the entrance test are then required to appear for the counselling process of Paramedical Admission.
