TISSNET 2023: Tata Institute of Social Sciences which was previously established as Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work in the year 1936 is a deemed university under section 3 of the UGC (University Grant Commission), Govt. of India which fully funds its maintenance. The university conducts TISSNET (Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test) for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, integrated, M.Phil, and Ph.D. programmes.
The admission procedure for TISSNET 2023 will be commenced from the 1st week of December 2023. Only eligible candidates can appear in the Tata Institute of Social Science National Entrance Test (TISS NET). By qualifying for this exam, candidates will be enrolled admission in various offered programs including MA, M.Sc., and B.Ed. – MEd Integrated.

Eligibility Requirements
The complete eligibility requirements for TISSNET are given below:
- Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed 15 year of formal education with any pattern of study from any recognized educational board.
- Age Limit: The authority hasn’t set any age limits for TISSNET.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in the final examination can also apply for the examination provided that they must complete it before September 30, 2023.
TISSNET 2023 Application Form
Eligible candidates can procure steps for TISSNET Application process as stated below:
- The Application form will be available via both online as well as offline mode.
- Candidates can easily acquire and fill the application form from 1st week of December 2022.
- Only eligible candidates will be able to apply for TISSNET so each and every candidate shall check their eligibility before applying for the examination.
- Candidates will be asked to fill in various details in the application form for instance Personal Details, Date of Birth, Address, Mobile Number, Email Id, Educational Details, Parents details, etc.
- Every filled-in detail in the application form should be the same as it appears in their 10th mark sheet, any variation could cause rejection of the application form.
- The application form must be submitted before the stipulated dates as no application form will be accepted after the same.
- The applications must be sent before the 4th week of January 2023 to the allotted address by post.

TISSNET 2023 Exam Pattern
The complete examination pattern is given below for the candidate’s reference:
- Mode of exam: The exam will be conducted through computer-based online mode.
- Medium: The medium of queries will be English.
- Total No. of questions: A total no. of 100 questions will be there in the question paper.
- Questions type: All Questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Exam Duration: Candidates will get 1 hour 40 minutes to solve all the queries.
- Negative Marking: TISSNET doesn’t contain any negative marking.
- Subjects: The test will include questions from Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability, General Knowledge, and English Proficiency.

TISSNET 2023 Result
Tata Institute of Social Sciences will make the result available after few weeks from the completion of the examination at their authorized website. Every exam participant candidate will be able to check the result individually through online mode.
The result is expected to be out in the 4th week of March 2023. It should be noted that the result/ scorecard will not be sent to any candidate individually through post or any other offline mode. Candidates have to enter their registered email Id and password to obtain the result.
