Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is an eligibility test for hiring teachers in government/private schools in the state of Telangana. It is basically a state-level entrance exam. Those candidates who qualify for this eligibility test can work as a teacher of primary level to upper primary Level classes. Candidates who are eligible and interested can apply for TSTET 2023 by submitting their applications. Telangana TSTET Exam 2023 is organized in two parts for two different categories of candidates i.e. one for class 1 to 5 teaching and other for 6 to 8 classes. Candidate must fill out their forms appropriately otherwise, the authorities may reject the application form.
It is expected that the application form will be released by the last week of March 2023. Therefore, aspirants are suggested to fill up the form correctly and submit it before the stipulated due date.

Eligibility Requirements
Primary (I to V):
- Candidates should have cleared class 12th from a recognized board of education.
- The General Category Candidates should score at least 50% and the candidates belonging to SC/ST category must have obtained 40% Two-year in Elementary Education/ 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Cleared senior secondary exam with minimum marks of 45% (40% for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ BC) OR hold a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (Belted.)/2-year credentials in Education (Special Education).
Upper Primary Paper 2 (Class VI to VIII):
- A candidate must hold a graduation degree along with a B.Ed. degree is required.
- Those who have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in the degree are eligible.
- The candidate’s age must be between 18 years to 35 years.
TSTET 2023 Application Form
Follow the certain steps in order to fill up the TSTET Application Form 2023:
- Visit the main website of TSTET i.e. www.tstet.cgg.gov.in.
- Click on the link “Apply online” to begin the application process.
- Pay the TSTET application charges through any online payment gateway.
- Fill in the details like your name, date of birth, mobile number, parent’s details, etc. in the required fields.
- You will receive the transaction ID after completion of the application fee payment and keep it secure for additional uses.
- The applicant will receive a provisional registration number and password on their registered email ID.
- Upon successful registration, candidates will have to log in using their registration number and password that they received in the mail id.
- Enter your personal details, contact details, educational qualifications, and upload academic documents in the form.
- Now choose the suitable option for Paper-I or Paper-II or both.
- Attach/ upload copies of the passport size photograph, signature, and the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Submit the application form and keep its print copy safe for future references.
Application fee
- Aspirants can make the payment of the application fee via online or offline mode.
- The nominal application charges will be Rs. 200/- for general category candidates.
- Reserved category candidates will avail of relaxation in the application fee.

Salary & Benefits
The basic pay of an TSTET qualified teacher depends on the type of school where the applicant is selected to teach in and the classes offered to them. The salary amount includes the basic pay+ DA+ HRA and many other allowances. The other allowances involve medical expenses and accommodation allowances, etc. The retired teachers also get different pension plans from the state.
