Eligibility Criteria
Primary level – Classes 1st to 5th:
- A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) along with a 2 years Diploma in Education is required.
- Bachelor’s degree along with 2 years Nursery Teacher Training (NTT)/ BTC, C.T. (Nursery) recognized by UGC is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree with qualify in special BTC training is necessary.
- A graduation degree with BTC Urdu Special Training in Uttar Pradesh is required.
- Candidates possessing a 4 year’s Bachelor’s of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) degree are eligible too.
Elementary level- Classes 6th to 8th:
- A undergraduate degree with B.T.C from a university recognized by NCTE and UGC is mandatory.
- A graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks and B.Ed/ B.Ed (special education from rehabilitation council of India) is necessary to be eligible.
- 12th qualification with a minimum of 50% marks and any of the following four years degree courses i.e. B.El.Ed. or B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.B.Ed.
- A bachelors degree in any field with a minimum of 45% marks along with B.Ed. degree is required.
UPTET 2023 Application Form

- After that, enter all the asked details asked in the application form.
- Then, Upload your scanned copies of your passport size photographs and signatures.
- After that, Review all your details carefully and completely and then hit the “Submit” button.

Application fee
Applicants need to make a fee payment of INR 400/- However, Candidates belonging to the reserved category needs to pay INR 200/-. The mode of fee payment will be online. Credit card, debit card, or internet banking.

- Time Duration of the exam would be 2 and a half hours (150 minutes) for each paper.
- The medium of the question paper will be in both Hindi and English language.
