Eligibility Criteria

For primary level

Applicants must have cleared class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate marks. Additionally, the candidate must also hold a 2 years Diploma in Education.

For upper primary level

Candidate must have done graduation with at least 50% marks in aggregate.  Along with that, the candidate must also hold a B.Ed. degree.

• Firstly visit the official website of WB TET.
• Secondly, click on the link that says- “Online application form filling”.
• Thirdly, enter all the asked details asked in the application form.
• Fourthly, Upload your scanned copies of your passport size photograph, signature, and all the other documents that are required in the form.
• After that Review, all your details carefully and completely, and then hit the “Submit” button.
• At last, applicants are suggested to take out a hard copy of the application form for future reference.

Application fee

• Candidates who belong to the General or OBC category need to make a payment of Rs. 100/-.
• For SC/ST candidates, the application fee amount is Rs. 25/-.

• The exam mode will be offline.
• There will be a total of 150 questions in the question paper.
• Each question carries 1 mark.
• The duration of the exam will be two hours and 30 minutes.
