UPTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
For Primary Level (Class I-V):
- One must have obtained a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university or institution OR
- Candidates who have passed National Teacher Education Parishad from a recognized educational Institution are eligible too OR
- Individuals passing BTCT from the Institute recognized by the National Teacher Education Council, Uttar Pradesh can apply OR
- Two years diploma in education from the Indian Rehabilitation Parishad is needed. OR
- A Tech. degree from a recognized institute affiliated by Uttar Pradesh Rashtriya Teacher Education Office/ UGC is required OR
- Candidates should possess a graduate degree from a recognized university. In addition to this, they should have also completed the training in BTC Urdu from the state of Uttar Pradesh.
For Junior High School Level (Class VI-VIII):
- A UG or PG degree from a recognized university affiliated with UGC or NCTE is required OR
- Aspirants need to pass the senior secondary school level examination (12th) with at least 50% OR
- A 4 years degree in Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed. or BA/ B.Sc. Ed. from NCTE recognized institutes is required OR
- Aspirants who have done graduation or post Graduation from any UGC recognized institute with a minimum of 45% marks can also apply.
