Vedantu Scholarship 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must know the following eligibility criteria before applying for the scholarship test:-

  • The candidate should be studying in classes 6-12 in a school affiliated with any state, central or international board.
  • Students who are droppers after the 12th class are also eligible to apply.

Vedantu Scholarship 2023 Registration Process

Applicants from all over India are eligible to avail Vedantu Scholarship Scheme. However, in order to take part in the test one must complete the registration process as laid down below:

  • First of all, go to the Vedantu Scholarship Admission Test Portal i.e. www.vmsat.vedantu.com.
  • On the homepage of the website, Vedantu Scholarship information will be opened.
  • Now hit the ‘Register Now’ button.
  • Enter your valid Email ID, Mobile Number, and other details asked.
  • Now tap on ‘Apply For Register’.
  • Save your Password and Registered Email for future references.

Vedantu Scholarship 2023 Exam Pattern

Category 1- For students moving from class 6th- 7th, 7th- 8th, and 8th- 9th:

  • The selection of the applicants is based on the MAT (Mental Aptitude Test).
  • There will be a total number of 50 objective questions with 4 options(one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer will receive +4 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be subtracted.
  • The maximum time duration to complete the examination is 1 hour.

Category 2- For students moving from class 9th- 10th, and 10th -11th:

  • Candidates are tested on the basis of the MAT (Mental Aptitude Test).
  • There will be a total number of 50 objective questions with 4 options(one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer will receive +4 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be subtracted.
  • The maximum time duration to complete the examination is 1 hour.

Category 3- For JEE aspirants moving from class 11th- 12th:

  • Candidates are assessed on the basis of 2 sections- The mental Aptitude Test(MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test(SAT).
  • There will be a total number of 50 questions(25 questions from each section) in the paper.
  • All the questions are multiple-choice questions with 4 options(one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer will receive +4 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be subtracted.
  • The maximum time duration to complete the examination is 1 hour.

Category 4- For NEET aspirants moving from grade 11th- to 12th:

  • Candidates are assessed on the basis of 2 sections- The mental Aptitude Test(MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test(SAT).
  • There will be a total number of 50 questions(25 questions from each section) in the paper.
  • All the questions are multiple-choice questions with 4 options(one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer will receive +4 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be subtracted.
  • The maximum time duration to complete the examination is 1 hour.

Category 5- For JEE aspirants appearing for the 12th board examinations:

  • Candidates will be tested based on 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
  • There will be a total number of 30 questions(10 questions from each section).
  • All the questions are multiple-choice questions with 4 options(one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer will receive +4 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be subtracted.
  • The maximum time duration to complete the examination is 1 hour.

Category 6- For NEET aspirants appearing for the 12th board examinations:

  • Candidates will be tested based on 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
  • A total number of 60 questions will be there.
  • Physics and Chemistry will have 15 questions and 30 questions from Biology will be there.
  • All the questions are multiple-choice questions with 4 options(one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer will receive +4 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be subtracted.
  • The maximum time duration to complete the examination is 1 hour.

Category 7- For JEE Droppers:

  • Candidates are tested on the basis of 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
  • There will be a total number of 30 questions(10 questions from each section).
  • All the questions are multiple-choice questions with 4 options(one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer will receive +4 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be subtracted.
  • The maximum time duration to complete the examination is 1 hour.

Category 8- For NEET Droppers:

  • Assessment will be done on the basis of 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
  • There will be a total number of 60 questions in the paper.
  • The physics and Chemistry section will involve 15 questions and Biology will have 30 questions.
  • All the questions are multiple-choice questions with 4 options(one of which is correct).
  • Every correct answer will receive +4 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be subtracted.
  • The maximum time duration to complete the examination is 1 hour.
