Sarojini Damodaran Foundation has initiated a new scholarship scheme for approximately 2800 students across the different states of India. Candidates from different states will be eligible to take advantage of this scholarship scheme. The Vidyadhan Scholarship scheme is currently serving more than 2800 students from different states of India. The participating states under the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation Vidyadhan Scholarship 2023 are Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Pondicherry.
As per the norms of the Vidyadhan Scholarship Program, the initial duration for the scholarship will be 2 years (i.e. for classes 11th and 12th. However, if the candidate continues their studies with meritorious result, the scholarship period will be extended in order to help the student further in pursuing his/her higher degree course. Eligibility Requirements
The scholarship will be granted to those candidates who will satisfy the following eligibility criteria:-
- The applicant must have obtained at least 90% marks or equivalent in the SSC/ Class 10th examination.
- Disabled candidates need to secure at least 75% marks in the Class 10 qualifying examination.
- The students should have completed their SSC/ 10th education from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Karnataka, and Kerala.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed INR 2,00,000 from all sources.
Scholarship Details
The eligible and qualified students will get the following rewards in this scholarship scheme:-
- The shortlisted applicants belonging to the state of Kerala will receive a scholarship amount of INR 5000 per annum to pursue class 11th and 12th education.
- Outstanding secondary level students will be eligible to grant a scholarship to pursue their degree program in any discipline.
- The selected students belonging to Karnataka, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra will receive a scholarship amount of INR 5000 per year to pursue Class 11 and Class 12 education.
- The shortlisted candidates need to attend the mentoring program from the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation.
- Students pursuing graduate-level programs will be granted a scholarship amount of INR 10,000 – INR 60,000 per annum on the basis of their state, course, duration, etc.
Selection Process
The selection criteria in order to apply for the Vidhyadhan Scholarship 2023 is given below:
- The initial selection of the applicants will be made on the basis of their academic performance and other details in the application form.
- Shortlisted students will have to take participate in the test and an interview process.
- The scholarship departments will send the date, time, and location of the exam/ interview individually to the shortlisted candidates via SMS or email.
- In certain cases, the travel expenses of the students and the family will be reimbursed by the scholarship foundation.
Vidyadhan Scholarship 2023 Application Process
- First of all, the candidates will have to visit the official website of the Vidyadhan Scholarship via www.vidyadhan.org.
- On the dashboard of the official portal, click on the apply link for the scholarship.
- Now the list of different states in accordance with scholarship will be on your screen.
- Select the state from where you belong and hit the apply online button.
- In a new window fill in all the necessary information such as your name, email, password and register the same.
- Now on the new window choose the scholarship and verify your mobile number by providing a working mobile number the candidates will receive the OTP on the same mobile number.
- After that, fill the OTP in the given column.
- Now your account has been created and you can track your scholarship status with the help of the same credentials.

- Parental income certificate of the candidate
