KPSC Recruitment 2023: Every year KPSC (Karnataka Public Service Commission) opens vacancies to fill up different posts in the Karnataka state. The recruitment body i.e. KPSC hosts the state-level exams for the candidates who speak fluent Kannada and any other languages alike. After clearing the exam, candidates will be appointed to various civil level posts in Group A, B (Gazetted Prohibitions), C, and D in the state of Karnataka. The Karnataka Public Service Commission Examination has a three-stage selection procedure mainly the KPSC Prelims exam, KPSC Mains exam, and Personality Test/Interview.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Only a citizen of India can apply for KPSC 2023.
  • Aspirants must hold a graduation degree from any recognized University/institute.
  • The age of the candidate must be in the range of 21 years to 35 years.
  • Reserved categories candidates can view age relaxation in prescribed norms mentioned below.

KPSC Recruitment 2023 Application Form

  • Go to the main website of the Karnataka Public service Commission (KPSC) and click on the recruitment notification.
  • Do the registration for KPSC 2023 by entering a valid email ID, mobile number, and other required details.
  • On successful registration, a registration ID and password will be sent to your mobile number and email.
  • Log in and complete the application form filling by giving out the personal, academic, and other necessary details.
  • Upload the necessary documents involving scanned photographs and signatures.
  • Pay the exam fee via debit card/credit card or net banking method.
  • Recheck the application form carefully before final submission.
  • Submit the application form and get a copy of the same for future references.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates for the KPSC KAS will be considered via Prelims, Mains, and Personality Test/Interview.

Stage 1: KPSC Preliminary Exam

The KPSC Prelims exam comprises of objective-type papers carrying 200 marks each. It is qualifying in nature and the aspirants who pass this exam will have to appear for the KPSC Mains exam.

Stage 2: KPSC Mains Exam

The KPSC Mains exam holds 6 mandatory papers and one optional subject of two papers. Those clearing the KPSC Mains exam will then have to give an Interview or Personality Test.

Stage 3: KPSC Personality Test/Interview

At last, those who pass the KPSC Mains exam will be invited for the Personality Test or Interview. The selection of the candidate in the interview round will be confirmed on the basis of their overall performance and personality.

Result

The Karnataka Public service Commission would publish the outcome of Prelims, Mains, and Interview on its authorized website on the specified date and time. It will disclose the result of prelims and mains separately. The final result will be announced after due valuation of written and personal interviews. Aspirants would be appointed to the posts as per choices filled by them and also ranks secured. The official authority will assess their response sheets and likely to publish the result, after the examination is successfully conducted and same will hosted on the website. Competent body will release a combined merit list along the category-wise merit list for all the candidates who have taken part in the said examination. The result mentions the candidate name, father name, caste, category, date of birth, paper name, marks,  address and other details. All the individuals will be able to login with their registration and password to obtain their outcome.
