It is a national-level entrance examination that is conducted for female candidates only. Candidates need to sign a bond with the government to work with the Indian Military force hospitals. MNS 2023 Application form
Candidates will be able to check out the application form by visiting the official website. Candidates can only apply, if they meet the eligibility criteria first. The application fee is also required to be paid online. The user id will be the email id of the candidate and for the password, candidates need to create one. The candidate must also have a working valid mobile number.
Application Fee
- The candidates need to pay Rs. 150/- as the application processing fee. It can be paid online.
- After submitting the application fee, the bank will generate a fee receipt that can be saved by the candidate.
Eligibility Criteria
Female candidates who are legally separated, unmarried, divorced, and widows, can apply for this examination. In order to submit the application form, the candidate first needs to meet the following eligibility criteria that is listed below:
- The candidate needs to be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must pass the Senior Secondary examination or equivalent examination in the first attempt to be eligible.
- Candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate from a recognized board or a university.
- Candidates should have Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English in their class 12th examination. It is important to have Zoology and Botany subjects included under Biology.
- Appearing candidates can also apply for this examination. If they are selected for any course then, they will have to submit the examination passing proof with the required subjects and marks.
- The minimum height of the candidate should be 152 cm.
- For the candidates belonging to the North Eastern Regions and the Gorkhas, Garhwal, and Kumaon the minimum height should be 148 cm.
- The candidate will also have to go through the USG of the abdomen and the pelvis and an X-ray examination of the chest.

- 16 ½ to 24 years (as on the first day of the month in which is due to commence)

- The duration of the examination will be 90 minutes.
- This is an online exam i.e. computer-based examination.

MNS 2023 Selection Process
Those candidates who clearly pass the exam will be invited to take part in personal interviews and medical tests. The Authority of MNS will issue the call letters for personal interviews and call letters will be provided only to the applicants who successfully satisfy the eligibility criteria and qualify the exam. Candidates will receive the call letters on their registered email id. It involves the information such as the date, time, and venue for the personal interview round. Candidates need to report only as per their schedule. Before appearing for it, we suggest the candidates to check the counseling venue. Selection process includes a total of 3 stages that need to be cleared:
- Written test
- Interview
- Medical examination
Written Test
According to the latest rules and policy, the written exam is conducted in online mode whereas earlier it was used to be organized via offline mode procedure. This will be a computer-based exam (CBE). The total time duration allotted to complete the MNS exam will be 90 minutes. The exam will completely be objective-based with MCQs from the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, General English, Biology, General Intelligence, and General Knowledge. Additionally, it will contain a total no. of 150 questions.
Interview
After the declaration of the result for the written exam, shortlisted candidates need to appear for the interview round. For that, they will receive a call from the officials regarding the interview round, time, date, etc. The interview round will consist of a total of 100 marks. In the interview, the questions will include the candidate’s name, family, place of residence of the candidate, military aptitude, and educational qualification.
Medical Examination
In the last stage, participants have to undergo a medical test. This will be the last stage organized for the final selection.

MNS 2023 Result
In order to check the results, the candidates will have to follow the steps mentioned below:
- The candidates need to first click on the link of B SC. Nursing result.
- Serial numbers and marks secured by the candidate will be displayed on the computer screen.
- Candidates will have to press, “Ctrl and F” in order to find the roll number.
- Lastly, take out the print of the result for future references.
MNS 2023 Cut Off (Previous Years)
Here, candidates can check the previous year’s MNS cutoff marks. The candidates should note that the cut-off score of the MNS exam is increasing every year and one needs to prepare with full concentration to crack the examination. Here, the candidates who are going to appear for the exam and forward exam can see and analyze the previous year’s cut-off marks.

MNS 2023 Merit List
The final result of the examination will be based on the merit list. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of a written examination, medical fitness test, and the interview of the candidate.
