MPSC 2023: Maharashtra Public Service Commission also known as MPSC is the constitutional body of Maharashtra. MPSC selects eligible candidates for various posts in government organizations. The candidate will have to get qualifying marks at the entrance examination to get selected for MPSC. The students can apply for the Maharashtra State Service Services examination only through online mode. The candidates who are applying for this examination should have done a bachelor’s from a recognized university. The dates of the registration and examination have not been released yet. Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate will have to be a citizen of India.
- The Reserved category candidate needs to produce the permanent domicile certificate.
- The candidate will have to complete their graduation from a recognized university or college.
- The candidate’s age must be 19 – 33 years old.
- The candidates belonging to the reserved category will get the upper age limit relaxation.
- The age relaxation for OBC category candidates will be for 3 years.
- The maximum age limit for the PWC category candidates is 45 years.
- The candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories will get an age relaxation for 3 years.
MPSC 2023 Application form
The candidates will have to submit the application form online on the official website of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission. Before filling out the application form, the candidate will have to read all the instructions carefully and completely. Candidates will have to fill up all the necessary details including their name, address, other details, and educational qualifications in the application form.
Application fee
The candidate will have to submit the application fee online. They can make the payment online through credit card, debit card, or net banking. Do not forget to keep the application form with you for reference in the future. The application fee for the General Category students and OBC is Rs. 524/- and for the candidates belonging to the unreserved category, the fee is Rs. 234/-
Exam Pattern
Prelims
- There will be 2 papers in the preliminary examination.
- Both papers will have objective-type questions (MCQ).
- The time duration will be 2 hours (each) for both papers.
- The total marks will be 200.
Main Exam
- There will be a total of 4 papers in the main examination.
- The first three papers will have only objective-type questions and the fourth paper will consist of both objective and descriptive questions.
- The marks allotted to Papers I, II, and III will be 150 each, and the IVth paper will have 150 marks for objective-type questions and 200 marks for descriptive questions.
- The total marks will be 800 for all 4 papers.
Interview/ Personality Test
The interview or Personality Test is the last stage of the MPSC selection procedure. The aspirants, who acquire the cut-off score in paper II, will be eligible to take part in the interview round. The MPSC Personality Test round is usually organized by a panel of unbiased and competent members. With the personal interview round, the communication skills, in-depth knowledge, knowledge of current affairs, and mental ability of the candidates will be assessed.
Exam Syllabus
The syllabus for the MPSC examination 2023 includes General Aptitude, Natural resources, General Studies, Indian Economy, Human Resource Development, International and institutions, Geography, Energy Resources, Indian Polity, Industries Environment, and Current National Issues.
MPSC 2023 Admit Card
The candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official website of MPSC. For both the preliminary well as the main examination, the MPSC will issue different admit cards. The students will have to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without the admit card, the candidate will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall.
MPSC 2023 Result
The result will be declared on the official website of the MPSC. The result of the examination will be declared in 2 parts. Firstly, the result for the prelims will be declared and then the main result and the interview result will be declared. In the end, the final result is published on the official website of MPSC.
Cut off
The Cut off list will be released after the results for each post are announced by the authorities online. Candidates will be able to access the result by clicking on the Cut Off link and entering their login credentials.
