NIOS Exam Fees 2023: NIOS board updates the NIOS fee details for the March-April examination. It will be announced on the official website of NIOS board www.sdmis.nios.ac.in. The students who are going to appear for the examination of March-April 2023 must have paid the fee through the payment window. The students must note that the due date to pay the fee is 31st March with the normal fee. However, the payment window will be open until the 2nd week of April 2023 but with a late fee. Hence, all the students are advised to pay the fee before the last date (31st March), otherwise, they will have to pay the late fee along with the normal application fee.

NIOS Exam Fees 2023

NOTE– The students must note that NIOS registration for April 2023 has been closed now. However, the students who are for admission now will be able to appear for October 2023 exams (for which the NIOS exam fee will be accepted in May 2023).
Is the NIOS Exam Fee and NIOS Admission Fee the same?
Well, NIOS Exam Fee and NIOS Admission Fee are different from each other. NIOS admission fees are paid during applying for admission. On the other hand, the NIOS exam fee will be payable after confirmation of admission.
The students have to pay the exam fee separately whenever they want to appear for the exam. NIOS admission fee is payable only for one time. Paying an admission fee does not mean that the students can appear for the exam.

How to pay NIOS Exam Fees 2023 for Secondary and Higher Secondary 2023?
The NIOS exam fee 2023 is non-refundable. Hence pay the exam fee very carefully. The exam fee can be paid through online mode i.e. Debit/Credit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI. The following steps will help the students to pay NIOS Exam Fee 2023.
- Visit the official website sdmis.nios.ac.in and click on the link “Pay March-April 2023 Exam Fee”.
- On clicking the link, a window will open on the screen, where you have to enter the enrolment No. and click on submit.
- Now, you need to choose the subject and again click on submit.
- After this, another window will open containing the details of the NIOS exam fee 2023. Now, you can proceed to make the payment of the exam fee.
- Now, pay the exam fee using any of the payment modes available on the screen.
- In the end, do not forget to save the transaction details for future reference.

Parent/ guardian of the student who is enrolled in NIOS re suggested to follow the instructions mentioned below regarding Exam Fees:
- National Institute of Open Schooling doesn’t accept any fees at its headquarters.
- Make sure you have a strong internet network/ server with high speed in order to avoid the issues regarding the transaction failure.
- You should choose the exams carefully for which you want to take up and make the payment of the exam fee only for them.
- After paying the exam fee, you should surely download the NIOS exam fee receipt and preserve it safe for further references.
NIOS On Demand Examination Fees
The National Institute of Open Schooling organizes an On Demand Exam for the students of class 10, 10+2 throughout the year except during the months of public exam. Those students who desire to appear in the On Demand Exam will have to deposit the on-demand exam fees through the online mode. The fee structure for on demand exams is given in the table below:
