Para Commando Salary & Perks Details
The commandos of Para Forces live a very challenging yet extraordinary life, consequently, they are rewarded capably for their services along with the salary and other perks, They receive some extra allowances too. A soldier of para forces is entitled to a salary of 17300 per month as SF allowance, an additional amount of Rs. 6000 monthly is also provided as part pay.

Selection Procedure
Aspirants who attain 100% marks in the Physical fitness test and 50% marks in written test and in merit will have to join a ELITE PARA Regiment by Army Recruiting Offices just before their dispatch. They then need to go through the additional physical efficiency tests for selection in PRTC Training.
Para Regiment Training Test
Candidates who have applied for the option of joining PARA Regiment will be able to join the already allotted Parent Regiment in case they fail to pass the special screening tests for PARA Regiment
Para Regiment Physical Fitness Test
Nominated candidates have to undergo a Physical Fitness Test which requires their height, weight, chest measurements, and other requirements as well. A detailed view of the Physical Fitness Test is given in the table below:

Shortlisted candidates will be dispatched to PRTC for additional training. Physical Standard, height, chest, weight, age will be according to are and states. If the shortlisted candidates fail to satisfy required training standards at PRTC, then for further training they will be transferred to the Parent Regiment.
