The Railway Recruitment Board releases the notification regarding the ALP Recruitment on its official web portal. The application form will be available on the official portal i.e. www.indianrailways.gov.in. The recruitment drive of ALP is conducted and regulated by one of the 21 Regional Railway Recruitment Boards. For getting recruited for ALP candidates have to qualify for the CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test), and document verification.  The application process for the same will be started in the month of February 2023 tentatively. This exam is organized at the national level and qualified candidates who clear the entrance exam will be recruited as Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians in Indian Railways. Eligibility Requirements

  • Candidates must have passed SSCL+ITI or matriculation or apprentice course or Diploma/Degree in Engineering to be able to appear for this exam.
  • Those applying for the post of technicians need to pass matriculation or SSCL+ITI or apprentice course or 12th with Physics and Mathematics or Diploma in Engineering to take up this exam.

Age limit

The age of the applicant must be between 18 years to 28 years to be eligible. However, relaxation in reserved categories is given below:

  • OBC: 3 Years
  • SC/ST: 5 Years
  • General (PWD): 10 Years
  • OBC (PWD): 13 Years
  • PWD – SC: 15 Years
  • PWD – ST: 15 Years

RRB ALP 2023 Application Form

The steps to filling up RB ALP Application form 2023 are given below. Follow these steps:

  • On the official website of Indian Railways, candidates need to carefully enter details like name, educational qualification, post, exam center choice, etc. while applying.
  • All the details in the application form should match with the official records/documents of the candidates.
  • Upload scanned copies of the candidate’s recent passport-size photograph and signature as per the given formats.
  • Candidates can use the integrated online payment gateway for the payment of application fees.
  • Candidates must download a copy of the duly filled application form and take out its print for the records.

Application Fee

An individual can make the application fee payment either through online or offline mode. Online modes of payment would be debit card/ credit card/ internet banking and offline payment can be made via SBI or Post Office Challan.

RRB ALP 2023 Result

The Railway Recruitment Board will release the examination results for each and every stage. Candidates need to qualify at each stage to be eligible for the ALP recruitment process. Candidates can check the result online mode by visiting the official portal of Indian Railways. The result will be made available stage-wise. Different participating RRBs will publish the result for ALP Exam separately online. After the announcement of the RB ALP 2023 Results, nominated candidates will be called to appear for the document verification process. They will have to produce certain documents to verify and according to this last stage, the candidate will be appointed to the respective post.
