Every year TNUSRB invites online applications for the eligible candidates to take part in the recruitment process. Eligibility Requirements
Nationality:
- Applicant must be of Indian nationality and he/ she should be a resident of Tamil Nadu State in order to be eligible.
- Other state candidates will not be allowed to take up the TNUSRB Recruitment Exam.
Educational Qualification
- A candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in 10+2+3/4/5 pattern or 10+3+2/10+3+3 pattern in diploma courses from a known and recognized Government Institution/University.
- Applier must have studied the Tamil language in Class X or XII in order to apply for the TNUSRB Recruitment Exam.
- Those applicants who have qualified for their degree from distance education/ open universities after completing schooling and ITI in the 10+3+2 pattern can also appear for the exam.
- In case any applicant has passed his/ her graduation degree from an open university in a 10+2+3 pattern, then he/ she cannot take up the recruitment exam.
Age Limit
- Any applicant who is in the age group of 20 years to 28 years can appear for TNUSRB Recruitment Examination.
- Meanwhile, candidates belonging to the police department who have completed five years of service give this exam up to the age of 45 years.
- However, this relaxation is only applicable for the candidates who are participating via departmental quota.
- Candidates who are Ex-personnel / ex-servicemen of Central Paramilitary forces can take up the exam till 45 years of their age.

TNUSRB Recruitment 2023 Application Process
- Those candidates who are seeking recruitment in TNUSRB and aspiring to apply for the TNUSRB recruitment exam; need to fill out the form before the due date of its submission.
- It is obligatory for the candidates to fill in with correct personal details, academic details, communicational and other information in the form.
- Contenders have to fill in the application form validly and upload the scanned passport photo as well as a category certificate and other requisite documents as per the declared specifications.
- Pay the crucial application charges to complete the rest of the application process.
- Once the application form submission task gets completed, the applier will receive the confirmation mail regarding the completion of their application process on their registered email id.

Exam Pattern
Open Quota:
- The duration assigned to complete the pen and paper-based (offline) exam is 2 hours 30 minutes.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks will be 35% of 70 marks (25 marks).
- There will be a total number of 140 questions carrying half mark each.
